OBEDIENCE TRAINING
FFR offers obedience for all dogs starting at 6 months old.
Our on and off leash obedience program last for 8 weeks.
During the time your dog is here they will the following commands:
• Sit
• Heel
• Here
• Place
• Kennel
Your dog will be socialized with other dogs and learn that manners should be used at all times.
An obedient dog is the best dog to have!

GUN DOG
Fair Feather Retrievers offers gun dog training for all serious hunting dogs and competition dogs.
FFR’s offers the following to get your dog ready for the upcoming hunting season or competitions:
Started Level (5-6 months)
• Obedience (on and off leash)
• Collar conditioning
• Force fetch
• Steady to shot
• Marking single birds up to 75 yards land and water
Seasoned Level (4-6 months)
• Blind retrieves
• Double marks
Finished level
• Blind retrieves
• Multiple marks
• Poison birds
• Honoring other dogs
During these times your dog will be familiarized to the following:
• Guns
• Duck calls
• Dog stands
FFR is involved in UKC and BSS Hunt test and field trials.
